Sequestering, Dispersing Agents
Sequestering dispersing agent is a textile auxiliary which is used to prevent the harmful heavy metal ions present on the bath during various processes. Sequestering agents combine with calcium and magnesium ions and other heavy metal ions in hard water. They form molecules in which the ions are held so securely that they can no longer react.
