Stain guard and stain release finish
Resil’s stain guard comprises specialty polymers designed to repel liquid stains on the surface of the fabric. Typically a water and oil repellent, based on fluorocarbons, these stain guards are resistant to washing and dry cleaning and possess good breathability. Common test methods include AATCC22 (water spray test) and AATCC118 (oil spray test).
Resil’s stain release consists of specialty polymers designed to release stains from the textile substrate.
